Client Responsibilities

Fees and Payment Terms

Fee Structure

  • Fixed fees for standard services

Payment Terms

  • Payment due within 30 days of invoice
  • Advance payments may be required
  • Interest on overdue amounts: 18% per annum

Non-Payment Consequences

Non-payment may result in suspension of services, withholding of documents, legal action for recovery, and termination of engagement. We reserve the right to exercise lien over client documents until all dues are cleared.

All client information is treated as strictly confidential under the Chartered Accountants Act, 1949, and professional ethics. We do not disclose client information without explicit consent, except as required by law.

Limitation of Liability

Termination of Services

By Client

  • 30 days written notice (unless urgent)
  • Payment of all outstanding fees
  • Completion of ongoing statutory requirements
  • Proper handover of records

By Us

  • Non-payment of fees
  • Breach of terms and conditions
  • Professional conflict of interest
  • Illegal or unethical requests

Post-Termination

After termination, confidentiality obligations continue. We may retain copies of records as required by professional standards and legal requirements.

Dispute Resolution

We are committed to resolving disputes amicably and efficiently:

Step 1: Direct Discussion

Initial attempt to resolve through direct communication

Step 2: Mediation

Mediation through ICAI or mutually agreed mediator

Step 3: Arbitration

Binding arbitration under Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 2015

Step 4: Legal Proceedings

Courts in Mumbai, Maharashtra shall have exclusive jurisdiction
